This review is coming from someone who for years has worked with essential oils, absolutes, isolates, resins, infusions, and fragrance oils. Heck, I even make my own lilac enfleurage in the Spring from the flowers that grow in my yard, and I must say that I am impressed with the aroma of this carnation oil. As a single note, it is sweet at first and spice during the dry down and at 1.0% in a body spray base, the non-offensive sillage is about arms length, and the scent lasts about an hour on the skin. A nice flowery scent with plenty of strength. I've looked for a long time for a true carnation scent. I found that mixing a a few drops of clove essential oil with this created the perfect result!
