Whoa. This has to be the real deal.
As a natural perfumer, I have to be honest, I was hesitant to purchase Cistus at such a low cost. I can't help but to think: 'adulterated, beware!' This has to be the real deal, though. Warm, amber, musky, earthy, sensual, resinous, deep. I have used this for chypres and oriental blends and have paired it with labdanum for full effect. Didn't know how this would fair as it's so inexpensive. Was disappointed upon sniffing the bottle as it didn't seem to have much fragrance at all, but once in the diffuser, it's incredibly warm, rich and honey-like. Favorite Essential oil yet
I have had my eye on this one for a while and finally decided to splurge. It smells so lovely I can see why it is more expensive. Blended it 25% cistus, 10% lavender, 8% lime, and 7% cedar to 50% carrier oil and it made the loveliest blend.
